Log-In and Password

In order to buy something from Gretelhome.com, you must first register with us. Click on "Log-in" at the top and follow prompts under “Create your account”.

What if I forget my password?

Click the "forgot my password" button on the login screen.  We will email you your password within a few minutes.  

Order confirmation

We will send you a confirmation email when you place your order, then another to tell you when your order has shipped.

Shipping

We ship to continental U.S. addresses, but not to P.O. or APO boxes.  For all other shipments (i.e. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada and international shipments) please email us (shop@gretelhome.com) with your order request and we will send you a shipping quote. You can then decide whether or not to proceed.

Orders received before 1pm (EST) will generally ship the next business day. We ship our orders by UPS Ground and they take around three to six business days to reach their destination. On the check out page this is referred to as ‘Standard delivery’. If you require a faster delivery service please contact us before placing your order to discuss the options (786 247-9003, shop@gretelhome.com).

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card. We do not accept personal or corporate checks, or cash.

Taxes

Gretel collects 7% sales tax for purchases made by Florida residents. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with their local state tax laws.

Out of stock items

We do our best to keep all the items displayed on our website in stock. Occasionally, however, we run out of particularly popular items and this fact will be indicated on the relevant product page. You can purchase out-of-stock items and we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. If you then wish to cancel the order you can do so within 24 hours.

Special order items

Gretel offers a concise collection of carefully selected pieces. There may be, however, an item that we don’t keep in stock (from a manufacturer that we do) that you would like to buy. If you have seen something that you would be interested in please let us know by email or by phone and we would be happy to look into ordering it for you.

Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping is offered at a charge of $6 per order. Just check the ‘Gift-wrapping’ box at check-out. If you have several items in your order we will contact you to see which you would like wrapped. Or if you would like all of them wrapped.

Gift cards

Gretel gift cards will be available soon.

Returns 

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. We will issue a full refund (less the shipping costs) as long as the merchandise is in its original condition, and has all its packaging, inserts and tags intact. If you decide to return your purchase email us at returns@gretelhome.com and we will send you instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost (including the necessary insurance). However, if the product is defective, contact us at returns@gretelhome.com and we will arrange for a UPS call tag to have the merchandise picked up from you.

If emailing us about your return please make sure that you include your name, address, telephone number, order number, and e-mail address.

Damaged items

We inspect and pack our products carefully to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition. If you do receive a damaged item please contact us at returns@gretelhome.com to arrange a replacement (within three days of receiving the shipment). Please keep the original items and all packaging material.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information sent from a web server to your computer. These cookies are placed on your computer if your browser allows for it. These allow us to personalize, customize, and quickly process and complete your shopping experience without having to continually request the same basic information from you. Cookies are not used to store any personal information such as your name, address, or payment information.

Privacy Policy

Gretel will never sell, loan, rent or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance, including those who subscribe to our mailing list. The information we collect is used solely to process your order and stay in touch with you. We are committed to protecting our customer's privacy.
